Only 500 Douglas Monstera Hip Flasks produced. Ink presents works by the world's tattoo artists against the lustre of pewter. Investing in art ordinarily involves little more than a transfer of funds.

A tattoo, on the other hand, demands its pound of flesh, or at the very least a little blood and agony. As they say, no pain no gain. Still, for the tenderfoot too indecisive (or chicken) to commit, we offer access to the creativity of some of the world’s most exciting tattooists, presented on pewter.

For some, the lush leaves of the Monstera deliciosa plant are symbolic of honour, respect and longevity, the three keys to any enduring relationship. In Guen Douglas’ sensuous interpretation, they also surround and protect.

To aid filling, a funnel is included. Before use, we recommend flushing out the hip flask with water a couple of times to clear any pewter dust that may remain from our finishing processes.

Based in Berlin, Guen’s unique whimsical touch runs through her art, which fuses the iconic style of the traditional American tattoo with the world of comic books, art nouveau and illustrative expression.
