This thimble urn is designed to hold a small keepsake memento (e.g. grains of sand from a special location, lock of hair, dried flower petals or cremation ash). The capacity of this urn is approximately a few pea-sized amounts of keepsake memento.

This urn is handcrafted by skilled artisans. The urn is individually unique, variations may be attributed with the use of handcrafted methods. 

Opening and closing the keepsake urn

• Work on a flat surface.
• Unscrew the top part and remove the lid.
• Carefully place the contents into the keepsake urn.
• Check that the contents is below the threaded portion of the base.
• Put the lid on and gently rotate the lid clockwise to close.
• The lid will go all the way down to create a seal.
